Is AI Dangerous?

Many inventors created super-intelligence such as robots, smart phones, computers, and satellites. They want to bring everyone different experiences and feelings to enrich life experience, but I do not think super-intelligence will happen in most of people’s lifetime. For example, computers and smart phones are tools, and people use them to communicate with others or to research online. I think computers and smart phones have become parts of our lives, but not necessarily others. They can be helpful or dangerous, depending on we use them. Also, computer programs have similar problems, and computers have limitations. Not everything can be done by computers.

When I read this article, it shows the app of an artificial intelligence has big problems, and it can only be as intelligent as the data that goes into it. For me, I absolutely agree with the author because computer do not communicate with others with real feelings or thoughts. I use a computer and a smart phone everyday because they are becoming very important parts of my life, but this does not mean that I am doing the right things. Because I spend too much time on these things to research and watch movies that I discover this to be bad for the eyes and study. On the other hand, computer programs are made by humans, so I think humans are smarter than computers because humans have ideas and expressions, but computers are tools and have feelings. Computers also cannot understand human love and actions. However, the author also said many apps provide good opportunities for someone who just wants to find someone to talk to or pass extra time.

My husband likes to use apps to talk to his friends during his free time. His friends from everywhere such as classmates, coworkers, friends, and relatives. Unfortunately, he sometimes complains that his account has been stolen by others, and he needs to use very long time to get the account back. I think he will continue to do the same things because there are too many hackers out there. In my opinion, computers are being used worldwide, but they cannot replace humans.
